We visited the Festplatz gibber kerb for Octoberfest and had a great time. Perfect size for a night out to listen to music and have a drink.

The most beautiful place in Wiesbaden

This year was really bad, not like every year nice and full of carousel. I am really very disappointed.

The place itself is great. But that the KERB was almost half smaller than usual is unreasonable.

Lots of grappling machines just a dull shadow of the good old Gibber notch.

The anniversary of the Gibber notch is very lean. Just this year many stands are missing, the tour is not as nice as in the 110 years before. On Monday is final fireworks, let's see if that has remained at least as fascinating.

Can you go with children? Nothing exhilarating but for the location - Dino park in the area - it's worth it. Well done!

Was visiting the Dinos. For the kids and also parents to see the animals again.

I was with my daughter in this Dino Wander Park. It was far too expensive and the showman kids were trying to order us. It is definitely not recommended to go there.

I advise all tourists who found themselves in Wiesbaden in July, to look at the holiday "Gibber Kerb". It usually takes place at the very beginning of July, lasting 4 days. Here, and carousels for children and attractions for the elderly, adults, too, will find what to do. Many tents with food and local drinks. Performance of local musical groups. At the end of the holiday fireworks. It is not really possible to find the parking places nearby, it's better to come by bus or park the car a bit further and tops.

Good parking possibilities. However, you should not just search for a parking space shortly before the event, unless you would like to walk a bit.

A fun event for Oktober fest! Affordable and cheap and good people here! Some speak English as well!

Nice place, with a connection to the field where you have a great and close view of the fireworks. The shops on the fairground are laid out in a circle, creating a "tour". Purely in terms of the festival, it is small and cozy and has a large marquee. The fireworks, however, are a "must-see".

Gibber Kerb

Every year the Gibber notch there on their fairground .. was something special in the past. But the last 5 years only old scrap driving shops everywhere the grabs are. Distribute only half a tent and always the same music groups etc.
